The OPK gave me teaser lines, but I did not actually surge. My test results did not come through. I was not impelled to have another flip-out over the possible outcome!

The world at large did not concede that, since I've been waiting quite a while, it's my turn to be pregnant next and not some woman who only just had a son eighteen months ago.

But I did not let this spoil my lunch.

My sister did not fail her very important exam. Neither did she get the job she wanted.

I did not hear back about a course I've applied for.

I did not expect the Fifty Good Deeds fund to be up to $73.58 already.

And the Aerosmith version of "Give Peace A Chance" from the Amnesty International Album did not sound the way I thought it would. But it was still cool.

I think IF is pretty much 99.9% waiting, followed by a few flurries of activity. I know it's frustrating when things don't move forward as planned.

I love the way you write & you've got a great attitude...

Those darn ads are so inconsistent... I've been working with them for quite a while and I'll never figure it out.

I found a place that takes *any* old cell phone and gives it to 'churches and non profit charities in Mexico' and I'm sending mine there (it took me a while to find the charger, which they probably didn't need anyway). Sounds like an easy way to do something nice... They pay $5 for the shipping charges, if you want them to.

It's funny the way things turn out... I hope the wheels soon become unstuck and your car begins moving again--only into lands with sunshine and blue skies.

Glad to hear that a flip-out did not force itself upon you, and that your lunch was not spoilt (or, rather, you didn't let it be spoilt - a large difference). And I hope those test results come through promptly - the waiting is the hardest part, and that's what this all seems to be about. Waiting.

I got your lovely card. Thank you!

I've been thinking about you. I may have to go to Singapore sometime in October to apply personally for their Fellowship programs. I'll let you know when exactly, if you're in town, I'd love to meet up.

I hate that IF is all about waiting. It sucks to be the most impatient person and have to deal with it. It's really testing me to my limits.

Hugs.
